kissattach

I am running REDHAT 5.2 linux installation with kernel 2.0.36
and the ax25-utils and net-tools packages installed.

I am trying the kissattach command line below:

/usr/sbin/kissattach /dev/cua0 ax0

and also

/usr/sbin/kissattach /dev/ttyS0 ax0

but get the following error for both lines:

kissattach: TIOCSETD: Invalid argument

Anyone has an idea of what is causing this error?
