My reading of this *requirement* is that the UK regulatory authority may 
well be sympathetic to waiving the CWID on all or certain bands (like 3cm!)

Anyway, the idea of my 10GHz 10MB packet link holding the door open at 
the local supermarket appeals to me :-)
