I dont know what is on the 2nd Redhat cd so i cant comment.
You mentioned in your last message, libax25, ax25-apps and ax25-tools.
The one i mentioned is node.0.3.0 which is a very nice little program
which one could compare to a nos program without a mailbox, its very nice
easy to configure and is highly recomended.
With the tools and apps you have you can attach and configure ax25 ports
for your use.
