Someone just pointed me to LWN's penguin gallery, at
        http://lwn.net/Gallery/

Which contains a pretty amazing selection of dozens of penguin logos for
various purposes (regional and national penguins including an alternative
Israeli one, penguins for specific Linux projects, and so on). It's a
beautiful selection of modern design on a single theme, almost as inspiring
as Google's holiday logos, so I wholeheartedly recommend taking a look.
