I didn't know that explanation of "yellow dog"... Maybe I should rethink
the ivrix.org.il mascot (at the time I chose it, by the way, I wasn't aware
of a "Yellow Dog Linux" existing).
By the way, m-w.com has a somewhat different definition of yellow-dog
(but I verified on c-span, that your definition is also correct):
