use the fetchmailconf program (graphical) with buttons and help to
configure the ~/.fetchmailrc file. novice configuration should suffice.
run fetchmail to retrieve mail. fetchmailconf is distributed with
fetchmail.
(if you ever get addicted to fetchmail (since it fetches mail so well) do
a 'man fetchmail' to know more)
