Login as root or su from user login

1. install wvdial

        mount /mnt/cdrom
        cd /mnt/cdrom/Redhat/RPMS
        rpm -ivh wvdial <press tab>

2. wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf

Keep the Modem on before typing the above command. This will create a file
/etc/wvdial.confwith default init string as well as the speed of the modem etc.

3. vi /etc/wvdial.conf

enter your username and password in the space provided. Save and exit.

4. wvdial

This will connect you to the net with the given username and password of your
ISP.

All the best.

Regards

Rajesh
