wvdial should be there in the <cdrom>/RedHat/RPMS folder, and i
forgot the fullname it is wvdial<something>.rpm. u may install it
with "rpm -i <filename.rpm>" replace filename with the fullpath
and name of package to be installed. if you like to see a representation
of what is happening, add "vh" to the "-i" in the above command to read
"rpm -ivh <filename.rpm>".

Once this is installed, you may run "wvdialconf wvdial.conf", with
your modem connected and powered. wvdial will configure all params
for your modem into file wvdial.conf. chmod this to 600 "chmod 600
wvdial.conf" then edit it using an editor and add your username
password and telno at appropriate positions, then remove the ";" from
the begenning of each line. Now move this wvdial.conf to /etc by giving
"mv wvdial.conf /etc". You must be ready, go and try "wvdial".

Happy surfing!
