I install Debian 2.1 kernel 2.0.36 , It's take 7 hours to install but still
I'm not
confirm that I install complete debian or not. I have 2 CD's but I use only
one.
now I want to know how can i install packages from my 2nd CD ?
In redhat 6.2 I used gnorpm for installation, do debian offer any package
manager like that ?
For dial-up internet setup I use "pppconfig" and use command #pon & #poff
in /root
now i want to know how can I make connection in my user account ( satyajit
$ ) ?
which command & permission I give my user ?
Debian direct start with FVWM but i want to start in text mode and when
need to
run FVWM than use startx command. how can i stop Debian to boot with
graphical ?
