I guess it was from ghostscripts site which hosts the updated version
of /usr/doc/ghostscript/devices.html and search comp.lang.postscript from
deja.com thats where i got the most pointers from

p.s. did you try the @PJL trick. Though our printer HP-2100M is supposed
to understand only PCL-6 ( documentation yet to be released) i wen through
the file generated by windows it sure does have
@PJL SET ....
And jiju did you have to do something like
@PJL ENTER LANGUAGE=POSTSCRIPT or something after the other PJL codes were
prepended. Moreover i gather the PJL headers have to be started with
<esc>-12345X@PJL JOB
and ended with
<esc>-12345X
What i need to know is should the structure would be as follows
<esc>-12345X@PJL JOB
@PJL header
<esc>-12345X
DATA
EOF
or
<esc>-12345X@PJL JOB
@PJL header
DATA
<esc>-12345X
EOF
I would have loved to try it out myself, but have to switch to NT now ;(
