My Mistake, I should have made myself more clearer.
This is for a PSU, which has some very enterprising IT personell and
they already run squid on a Linux box for their proxy services and have
above 500 Windows clients. They have approached me personally ( I call
the GM, IT an uncle) stating clearly that there is not much that they
can do about the desktops but are initiating the replacement of MS
Office with Openoffice and searching for a replacement of Outlook. BUt
this would take time and right now they have asked me to do the best to
stop/filter viruses at the proxy. So could you suggest something keeping
the current scenario into consideration.
