If your question was on getting a distribution with long support cycles, but for less money than redhat, then I would certainly say that switching to Debian stable would be a valid suggestion. #perl on freenode refers to this as the XY problem, when the questioner is asking for how to do Y to achieve goal X, when it is usually simpler to do it in an alternative way. > That is why my retort about are you really trying to help.
