Hi,
You can also use ftp in a script.
write a file "host" which contains :
open ftp.somewhere.org
user anonymous [EMAIL PROTECTED]
cd /pub/incoming
bin
put FILENAME
quit
Then start it with :
nohup ftp -in<host &

Hello,
Has anyone had any experience using an Artecon single-sided 650MB
magneto-optical drive under Linux? I'm interested in using the drive to
read some disks originally written under SunOS.

it would depend how you were doing it
but if you are using a serial cable ?
just use pppd on each machine with the local option
and 2 ip addresses it works fine
