O dear, once again your mail editor does NOT line wrap.
As others and possably you will see, the above text is written on one
continuous line which is "375 cols long".

I suggest you start minicom with the -s option and check the configuration
is correct, i belive the default settings are for /dev/ttyS0.

Check also that /dev/modem is linked to /dev/ttyS1 or cua1, both minicom and
/dev/modem should be configured to either cua? or ttyS?.
