Thanks for your help with my previous queries I am working on your
soloutions at the moment.
My problem is again with X. I have an S3 Virge video card with 4MB of
memory, that's about all I know about it. My monitor is a 15" VGA. Whatever
combinations I have tried in the configuration files I can only manage 16
colours, am I doomed to this fate with my monitor. I keep seeing cool
screenshots on the web and want something similar on my PC. HELP please.
Also is there any way of making the icons I see on the desktop smaller.
They are big and angular and not very nice at the moment. The text I see on
the screen is also a bit big.
I know that these are merley asthetic problems and that I can work
everything (apart from the mahjong game!) fine with what I have got, but i
would prefer to have a nice environment to work in.
