Sorry, I should have been a little clearer. The machine has 2 IDE
interfaces in it. One interface is providing the primary IDE
channel, ttyS0, ttyS2, lp0 and the other is providing the secondary IDE
channel and lp1. The streamer is plugged into lp1 (the parallel port
supplied by one of the IDE interfaces). I'm using a VLB motherboard, so
unlike the newer PCI motherboards, the IDE channels, parallel ports and
serial ports aren't built into the motherboard, but are supplied by VLB
IDE controllers.
