I use Linux kernel 2.0.36 and there is no module parport_pc which i can
use to support my parallel port. DOS support my IOMEGA ditto 800 und Linux
works fine with my printer, but insmod bpck-fdc failed. bpck-fdc couldn't
get any adress and the device is not configured if I try to write data to
the ditto tape. insmod ftape and insmod zftape are ok. In conf.modules are
the following lines included:
alias char-major-27 zftape
options ftape ft_fdc_driver=bpck-fdc,none,none,none
I don't wanna update my kernel 2.0.36 to 2.2.x to use parport_pc. I'm
looking for another solution of this problem.
Thanks for help me
Bye
