Below is another oops from 2.4.20-pre11 with the ehci update and without the NVidia driver loaded. The oops occured in the same location as in my previous post. I've also attached my hardware info as you requested.
That looks interesting: - SMP ... someone please give me a dual Opteron, pretty please! ;) Does it reproduce if you're not running SMP?
- Adaptec Dual Firewire+USB, yes? Can you take that board out and see if the problem reproduces using the other ehci? Some folk have reported problems on those dual boards. The most benign problem was firewire throughput problems if USB was enabled. Seems the on-board bridge (the Hint chip) is problematic, maybe it's not configured right or maybe it's broken. - Dave
