Well here looks like where it detects the cardbus controller.

Then assigns USB bus 2

Then its a USB2.0 device (the onboard ports in my laptop are 1.1 so I know 
this is the cardbus controller)

Then loads the USB OHCI driver

I was impressed, I didn't have to do anything, default config plugged it in 
and it just works.
