Yep, I am still doing the theater light stuff (The software has been used as far away as Germany by a band - and it still Alpha software!!)
I have been concentraiting on the 4 channel dimmers and 8/10 channel console which have been in test over the last couple of weeks in a church and for a Hip-Hop/Break Dance event. If anyone in the ChCh area would like to test it dimmers etc in a school or something, please let me know off list as I am wanting a wide range of places to test it all ( email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ). I have been working on some DIN rail units that are capable of Dimming, and have been looking at building current monitoring/limiting into them. The Software side for home automation is still on paper. It will hopefully be able to schedule regular events, monitor and record switch on/off times, have time limits and a Fiter type control of lighting and machinery e.g of a filter CHANNEL=0 DENY=ALL ALLOW=08:00-17:00 BYPASS=ALLOWED CHANNEL=1 ALLOW=ALL DENY=06:30-20:30 BYPASS=DENYED Where channel 0 could be office heater circuits, and channel 1 could be outside lights. Nothing is set in the software side, and it probably wont be until next year (Unless someone actually pays me to do it) that I have some time to work on it. I am intending doing a background daemon with both text and gui front ends. And since I have just Got married, things have been put on hold for a while (Hence next year) but my new wife is very understanding about the development, especially since she is the one who uses my dimmers and things (She did Lighting and Video when she was in Pasadena California) Mike Quoting Yuri de Groot <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Mike, you still doing your theatre light stuff? > Do you think it could be adapted for the sort of things discussed in > this thread? > > > Yuri > --------------------- !!!!
