Thats true, DIN-Rail type control is only any good if you are wiring up a new place - 
or totally re-wiring a house. 

X10 is the easist to use for existing installations, because it uses the power cables 
to transmitt and recieve the data.

The software I will hopefully be working on should work with MSLP, DMX-512 and some 
X10 devices.
