Fans yes, however the noise from the bloody hard drives can be deafening. We've just removed 2 labs of 25 and replaced them with Compaq Evos and LCD monitors and everyone has commented on how much quieter the labs are.
The eMacs are cheap at the moment due to the impending release of the G5 processor, but they are noisy, very heavy and awkward to carry.
