Hummm... wasn't the provision of educational material one of the orginal driving forces of the internet? Is the uni reinventing the wheel because the greedy phone companies have asimulated the internet into their profit making missions? As for ISPs... I've been in Australia for 6 years so lost touch with what's going on, but as I recall it was the uni that built many of the ISPs in Christchurch (before I left) by providing them with data feeds. Have people forgoten who their friends were in this city? Keep talking...
