For the record the gui app was "modem lights". a cursory examination of the help file for modem lights will reveal that you can define the command that modem lights will trigger to connect to the net. the obvious way is to make that command as wvdial. I suggested it, you ignored it, I cannot find the post on the archive, but it will be there. HOWEVER, i suggest that Robert is right, SuSE is treating you well, stick to it!. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Nick Rout" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Monday, November 08, 2004 4:13 PM > Subject: Re: What's going on here? > > > > I suggested another gui program to get the internet up and down. vatsala > > did not want to use it. > > Regards, > Bhaktavatsala Dasa (Vatsala) > > @ http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~vatsalaji - Hare Krishna! >
