A 'Notice of Objection to Grant of Patent' may be lodged with  Intellectual 
Property Office New Zealand.

This is submitted on form PAT15.pdf[1]. A fee of NZ$337.50 is required.

A further fee of NZ$843.75 is required from each party should the matter 
proceed to a hearing.

Under Section 22 of the Patents Act 1953 the Commisioner may decline the 
application without oposition if he becomes aware of any publication in New 
Zealand of the specification prior to the claim.
