I swear by Mepis for the following reasons:- -It has, according to me and Google, a very good hardware detection. -It uses KDE by default - meaning it is an easier transition for ex windows users. -There are some very able list members using Mepis and able to give you help. -Mepis has several multimedia packages installed by default (which Ubuntu cannot boast) > What do I need to do to get a copy of these please?? I can burn you a CD. I am in Parklands but do get around town so may be able to drop it off.
