Following Chris's resent message and comment about email problems I thought 
that I would ask the list if others have experienced problems over the last 
few days.

I have had two customers with Xtra who could not receive pop3 email (on 
multiple computers).

One I think I tracked to Norton 360 scanning email even though Outlook was 
shut down (disabled the email scanning then all seemed well on the other 
computers)

The other customer had only one computer so to eliminate that as an issue I 
set up my laptop with  their settings, switched their computer off but still 
had the problem on my laptop. After much talking with xtra help desk we 
decided to try with my laptop somewhere else so I took it to a friends xtra 
connection (still using my customer's settings) and all was well.

I know of at least two other Xtra customers who have had the same email 
problem lately.

At home we have a problem that we seem to have a very intermittent ADSL 
connection over the last few days. I have even plugged in another modem but 
that too did not have an ADSL led showing. Seems if I leave the modem off for 
10 minutes then restart it it works for a while.
