My eldest sister proclaims to know someone who worked within the SkyTV channel
and said to me talking on the subject of payTV that the cost (now that things
are in place) are about $8.00 all up per user connection. and that that
covers purchased TV rights (how real it is i don't know). but TC could've
said to hell with caps and have had an all you can eat cable connect for $70
and say 20 gigs for 30 bucks cheaper with variances on speed only.

How many people would've jumped onto the wagon then?
How much more profitable would the cable service be now?
What would Telecon do and how would be the whole Boardband field be today if
TC had said dam the Returns we want to break telecom in the 3 cities 1st and
from there move into the regional towns, things might be better (or the same
as TC would then show it's indifference to NZ cunsumers).

Come on BCL (or wot ever ya branding is now) become a carrier for the ISP's to
jump on and break the telecon monopoly (I know telecon use 'em too).

Elections on next year - Vote for your one and only benevolent dictator ME.
and i'll make telecon sit up and take notice (plus a few other bully boy
businesses).
