I had been looking at the D600s but was put off by the Broadcom wifi,
the D600s all appear to be ATI?. And I was planning to install either
Debian Etch or Ubuntu 7.10, so that's encouraging
Re: the T40 the fragile lid is a bit of a worry & from checking the
lenovo site I understand the T40/T41 don't have a serial port, this
could be a problem.
(Hopefully I am referring to the correct "serial port", as I'm wanting
to connect my GPS using one of these connectors:
