It would. Since opening Konq starts it in either filemanager of
webbrowser mode, it'll default to one of those settings. You *must*
save your settings to the correct file, otherwise they won't be loaded
at start-up. Thus, your "wittig" profile doesn't get loaded.
Just checked Konq (under MDK 10.0) and it's Settings menu, Save View
Profile "filemanagement"... is the item you need to save to, for
settings to be loaded by default.
