I like Ubuntu, I have had very few problems installing it on many 
computers, it is very user friendly, and can also be installed within 
Windows (the wubi install) for trial. If you wait until Oct. 30, I think 
you might like 8.10 Intrepid Ibex. I have the Alpha 4 release on one of 
my computers and it seems to have some new features that I like.
