I was referring to Installation CDs (Ease of Installation section). You are right that Knoppix was the first, but Ubuntu took it one step farther by making this their installation method and now everyone has copied Canonical. Knoppix can be installed on the hard drive, but it is primarily meant to be run from the disk. Credit is due where it is due. Knopper and Canonical both deserve recognition for what we have to day.
