Hi guys
Sorry to enter the group on such an inauspicious note, but hopefully my folly would've
taught someone :)
Okay, to come to the point: I seem to have toasted my AMD K6-2 400 CPU and/or my Azza
PT5-VMD motherboard by running the wrong kernel (2.2 for i686).
I previously had a Celeron with an i810-based board in the system, and both Windows
and Linux were running fine. I then changed the board and the CPU, but forgot to
replace the kernel. Result: no display.
Anyone ever encountered this prob before?
