U say all those individual parts work ? How did u test them if they were
part of toast party ? Anyways, running a misconfigured kernel will at the
most give a blank look, which u r getting now! There have been no records of
foul smell or toasts emanating within the confines of the system :-)
Ok , jokes apart, check the display drivers using some old kernel, if u can
get hold of one! I can provide u with Slackware 96 (PCQ edition){ or "minix"
if u want the granddaddy or THE linux, to check out ur system :-) }. It
should work without any glitches if the problem is in the CPU or motherboard
being different. BTW, use ur right brain, thats the only feasible advice at
this moment :-)
