CPU fried?... kernel would not likely be the problem.
I have recompiled the kernel with that PCQ 6.2 cd... on an AMD 350
running on the very same motherboard... AZZA PT5VMD.... for i686....
runs smooth....
that cannot be the problem.... if so my system would have fried itself a
few months ago...
-> no display at all? that means not even BIOS?
at ur first boot into linux...
is ur CPU getting hot? if so... good sign that it isn't fried..
something else.
is Ur cabinet speaker connected : any sound.. beeps..etc ?
