Have you tried the Linuxant Driver (www.linuxant.com) ? I uses this for my install and it was pretty easy. I looked everywhere on the internet trying to find information for a pcmcia card that would work with linux (for another machine) without ndiswrapper/linuxant but couldn't find any suitable cards. Finally settled for a D-Link MWL-G650 which was a snap to setup with ndiswrapper and the .inf file on the windows install cd.
