No I haven't tried linuxant ... just loaded the site. I've tried following instruction set after instruction set ... I've just become frustrated to a point I don't want to fool with ndiswrapper. I've even contemplated doing a complete re-install as I've fooled around with ndiswrapper to the point I'm not certain what's what. This why I thought it bet to search for a card that would work specifically with my combination of machine and OS (R3000/SuSe x86_64 10.0).

Have you tried the Linuxant Driver (www.linuxant.com) ? I uses this for my install and it was pretty easy. I looked everywhere on the internet trying to find information for a pcmcia card that would work with linux (for another machine) without ndiswrapper/linuxant but couldn't find any suitable cards. Finally settled for a D-Link MWL-G650 which was a snap to setup with ndiswrapper and the .inf file on the windows install cd.
