I'm not my Grandmother.  I'm very good with Linux on the server, but I've not 
yet been able to live with Linux on the desktop.

And after all, the subject of this thread is Linux on the desktop.

Today I got a popup; kubuntu, the last LTE.

17 security issues.

But running the update gives me lots of errors, it doesn't complete, and the 
list doesn't clear.

I don't have time to switch off the distro this week, but I may not have a 
choice.

And yes, the total experience is killing Linux on the desktop; at least from 
my point of view.
