Hello Ping, > You know what? I feel we may misunderstand each other here. Do you have 3 > screens?
No, only two (the ASCII art graphics only looks good with a monospaced font, sorry for that). > Are you running Nvidia graphic driver with Twinview setup for your > display? I am using the Nvidia graphic driver but, now where you mention, I am using Xinerama because of the following problem: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=e099e1d4328e4753eb2765291cf0f5f2&t=54638&page=5 In short: With Twinview the primary and secondary screen where exactly the wrong way around than desired. This is correctable since version 1.0-9625 of the Nvidia driver with the option "TwinViewXineramaInfoOrder". But for now I am using an older version with the Xinerama workaround described on the above page. > Three screens sound odd with Twinview setup. If your display isn't Twinview, we have another > solution for you to map whole tablet to one screen at a time. Use option > "mmonitor" "off". Then use modetoggle to switch between screens. That's nearly perfect. As with "CursorProx" the option "mmonitor" doesn't work in xorg.conf but that's no problem since I now use a file ~/.kde/Autostart/wacom.sh which has to be executable and has the following contents: #!/bin/sh /home/stefan/bin/linuxwacom-0.7.6-3/src/util/xsetwacom set cursor CursorProx 63 63 /home/stefan/bin/linuxwacom-0.7.6-3/src/util/xsetwacom set stylus mmonitor off The file ~/.xinitrc didn't work in Debian as Robert noted (thanks) and the ~/.Xsession variant seems to be a little bit too complicated. I only have one problem: When I move the stylus to the right edge of the tablet the screen cursor switches from the left screen to the right screen but when moving to the left edge it didn't switch back to the left screen. If that would work I would have no need for the modetoggle functionality. > Hope this one is right :). Yes thank you very much, when the left edge would work it would be perfect. Even though I have no time at the moment, if there would be something new to test I would try to test it anyway. :-) Also thanks to Mats for his considerations to enhance expresskeys. If the above is fixable there is no need for me. With best regards, Stefan ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
