Well then don't believe them. Or have a healthy dose of doubt. Look at other aspects of the industry, not just through MM glasses and see where trends are going. I've heard MM say lines like that before.
Why did Spectra die? A product they(MM/Allaire) marketed to "enterprise" clients. Well to get it going you needed to spend around $12k in software to get going. Not counting hardware. I'm not saying it(Flex) is not a good product, I'm not even saying that there will not be some "enterprise" market players that will play in that game. Companies simply don't throw $$$ around like what they did in 1999, and what MM says now sounds much like what they said back then about a product that is now extinct.
