To add a slightly different (but unnecessary?) voice... I used to be a sub-snob. Comments like "I don't want to READ!" just make me laugh.
But now I am so busy, I have to multitask even when I am trying to get some R&R. So even when I am watching anime, I can't be Watching the screen all the time. Most of the time I have to watch or feed the baby while I am watching anime. I still prefer subs in general, but it's just not practical when I'm multitasking.
