Actually the Xbox 360 is a lot more advanced than the original Xbox. I don't remember all of the exact specs off the top of my head, but I know that it is primarily focused on sheer processing power. While they do hae wireless controllers, they are not using the Bluetooth technology that the PS3 is supposed to use. As far as components, it is designed to be more modular so that components can be upgraded in the future without having to buy a whole new box. It currently doesn't have the HD-DVD because Microsoft is waiting for the standard to be finalized. Once a standard is reached, they will release the appropriate HD-DVD that can swap out the one currently in the 360. Sony, on the other hand, is trying to force acceptance of Blu-Ray by making it the standard for the PS3. If that ends up not becoming the standard, than the PS3 ends up going the way of the Betamax VCR. I think the Xbox 360 is a fine unit.
