they didn't have to have Han step on Jabba's tail at all. He comes back
around to the same place so it could work to cut away to Chewbacca.
They could've done a number of things with the graphics processing
power we have nowadays. I probably have a better GPU in my own
computer than they did in the SE Trilogy. Still I don't think there's
anything wrong with Han stepping on his tail. It's a little ballsy,
but that's Han for you, and I don't think Jabba's about to kill a guy
just for stepping on his tail, unless he had other reasons to on top
of that.
