I skimmed through the English language website, and a few things caught my attention.
- 'Long March' rockets? They just can't get away from their 'glorious political history'. - Lunar orbit is 'Deep Space'? o.O - Nothing wrong with having a lunar landing as #10 out of 12, imo. It's a long-term goal, and many of the others listed are things that can probably be worked on in the short term. What did catch my eye, though, was the satellite navigation system. From what's described, it's difficult to tell if it's a better way to move satellites around in orbit, or if it's intended to be a competitor with the GPS system. The latter is run by the US, and it's widely recognized that the US and China are going to be at least semi-competitive in the future as China develops. As a result, it wouldn't be surprising if the Chinese wanted to develop their own GPS system that was outside of US control.
