The retrocons I like better, especially the 0080 ones. I really

The Alternate series, almost completely, blow. The designs are good
but not great, some nice ideas, but every one of them have
underwhelmed me. But they are usually more detailed than the original
versions of the very first Gundam stuff.

On the subject of Alternate timelines, the ones I found to be absolutely
cracktastic were the G Gundam mecha - they were so over the top, I just
couldn't help but admire what the heck Okawara, Katoki and company were
smoking.
