things Okiwara, to the point where you even dislike designed based on
such. You can call the Dogas or the Kaempfer out of place if you like,
but that's no more true of them than it is of the Dom Tropen or the
Sniper II or any of the other retrocon designs, and it's certainly
less true for them than for anything from Sentinel, Victory, or even F91.
Not saying you have to like them, of course. But the reasons you
typically give for not liking them don't add up.
I can understand the feelings - in the sense that sometimes, it just
feels plain wrong. It's similar to my feelings toward the Stargazer.
Basically, I should like the design, but it leaves me cold. And then I
saw the SD, and said to myself, now, that i would buy!
