Hi! Yes, I realize I am incredibly lucky that my school doesn't block websites (we prefer to teach, and enforce, appropriate use), and that my students all have access to one degree or another. Our blog is through LiteracyWorkshop.org (run by Keith Mack, wonderful person!). It actually looks almost more like a threaded discussion board, with one thread for each student's RRJ entries. Replies to blog entries appear immediately below each entry. Hmm, does your district block educational, teacher-created, private-access-only wikis?! ;-) I am starting to use pbwiki increasingly frequently, and love the tool. It could easily substitute for a blog.
