Bill,

Pbwiki--please share how you are using it with your classes.

Thanks.

You mentioned a class blog. How do you use that? I see that students
submit classwork - is it where everyone can see? I'd like to set one up,
but unfortunately, our district blocks blogs, educational or otherwise,
and many of my students don't have access outside of school.

Hi!

Yes, I realize I am incredibly lucky that my school doesn't block websites
(we prefer to teach, and enforce, appropriate use), and that my students
all have access to one degree or another. Our blog is through
LiteracyWorkshop.org (run by Keith Mack, wonderful person!). It actually
looks almost more like a threaded discussion board, with one thread for
each student's RRJ entries. Replies to blog entries appear immediately
below each entry.

Hmm, does your district block educational, teacher-created,
private-access-only wikis?! ;-) I am starting to use pbwiki increasingly
frequently, and love the tool. It could easily substitute for a blog.

Take care,
Bill Ivey
