Hi Ken,  I'm in the process of educating myself on Wind generators.
I realized they used PM  not field coils  so how do they regulate the output
properly to avoid over charging a battery.
One solution I have seen described is to simply dump the output into a big
resistor they call a diversion load.
Surely there are more sophisticated methods available than that.

What is the best website for getting real information on how the regulation
is done?
Do any of the manufacturers use adjustable pitched props.
