To all,

I am so sorry they are no longer with us.

The US Navy more than a year ago killed 3 pirates on the high seas when they were overheard threatening their American hostages that they had in a life boat.

Just a few days ago, a court in NY sentenced one pirate to 30+ years in prison.

My thinking is that as soon as the pirates thought they were going to be assaulted, they shot the hostages in cold blood.

The US Navy killed 2 of them and have 13 captured. My guess is that these 13 will soon be standing before a US court in NY.

Trust me, the next Americans that get caught will be treated quite poorly. These pirates have a very long term memory and have been quite conscious NOT to harm their hostages until know. Americans are in their sights, and should act accordingly.

Lee

What a tragedy! Dumb question: Why don’t they escort ships and yachts in convoy instead of “patrolling the waters?” Wouldn’t that be more cost efficient and safer?

Sadness as we hear of our fellow Seven Seas members deaths.
